The Sparta Education Foundation Trustees meet annually to set strategic goals and objectives. At the January, 2011 meeting, the trustees set a three-year goal to reach $500,000 in giving and a five-year goal to reach $1,000,000 in giving.

- Sound Field Amplification Systems at Alpine School, October 2011 $8,210
To provide funds to purchase additional sound field amplification systems for the Alpine School classrooms
- HP Mini Computers for Special Education at Sparta Middle School, May 2011 $23,786
To provide funds for the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade resource room and study skills teachers to purchase 30 HP mini computers for the use of special education students.
- Brite Classmate PCs at Helen Morgan School, May 2011 $10,660
To provide funds for 26 Brite Classmate PCs for teaching keyboarding in 2nd grade classrooms.
- SMART Boards, projectors and speakers for Helen Morgan School, April 2011 $17,394
To provide funds to support the use of SMART boards, projectors, and speakers as an instructional tool in the elementary classrooms.
- Sculpture project at Sparta High School, February 2011 $4,600
To provide funds for the Advanced Sculpture Class at Sparta High School to purchase materials for a permanent sculpture created in collaboration with a local artist to be installed in a Sparta High School courtyard.

To provide funds to purchase 16 stationary bicycles for Sparta High School's Physical Education department.

To provide funds for hardware, software and supplies for the Robotics and Pre-Engineering curriculum in order to offer both first-level and advanced-level Robotics Engineering courses for students in 9th through 12th grade.

To purchase supplies for high school science classrooms that will allow 9th grade science students to perform inquiry-based laboratory experiments.

- Vernier LabQuest Probeware and Netbooks for Sparta Middle School, November 2009 $31,769
To provide Venier LabQuest probeware and netbooks for 7th grade science teachers and ten netbooks for 7th and 8th grade science classrooms to provide necessary equipment to conduct lab experiments to allow students to collect and analyze data, enhance inquiry methods of instruction, and supplement the science curriculum.
